Responding to long held industry concerns that existing deblistering systems can sometimes cause medication damage, contamination by foil debris, tablets and capsules being left behind in the blisters, and expensive tool changes, our engineers invented an entirely new process of recovering product.  The STRIPFOIL ™ process separates the foil from the blister using adhesive tape. 

The key advantages of separating the foil from the blister using adhesive tape are:

• Foil sticks to the tape and so none is mixed with products
• No foil is left retaining product.  100% of product falls out
• No pack specific tooling needed.

This method of removal is insensitive to the product format, size, shape and pocket clearance - generally it can recover product not recoverable with other processes. 

Finally, an unintended, but for some valuable characteristic of using such a robust method, is that the machine can process blisters quickly – in some cases as fast as 120 blisters/min.
